Shiatsu

Shiatsu is an ancient form of therapeutic bodywork from Japan, based upon the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Shiatsu is a fully-clothed massage, performed without the use of oils or lotions, and uses soothing, kneading, pressing, tapping and stretching techniques. Shiatsu is beneficial for a wide range of internal, musculoskeletal and emotional conditions. Shiatsu aids in reducing stress, provides a wonderful sense of relaxation and contributes to a state of overall calm, and well-being. Shiatsu stimulates the body’s own intuitive healing abilities, and strengthens the immune system.


Thai Yoga

Thai Yoga Massage facilitates the smooth flow of qi or energy throughout the body through gentle, slow, rhythmic palm pressure, and yoga-style stretching techniques Restoring balance and openness, Thai Yoga’s ancient techniques can help; reduce stress, pain, inflammation, increase blood and lymphatic circulation, assist in the removal of toxins, and increase energy flow while providing a deep sense of relaxation. Thai Yoga is a fully-clothed massage, traditionally on a floor mat, without the use of oils or lotion.


Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage is rooted deep within the principles of Ayurvedic traditions. This technique is not only feels like a “mini-vacation”, it has many benefits. Indian Head massage assists in; relieving shoulder, neck, and head tension, relieving migraines and tension headaches, stimulates hair growth, calms the emotional body/mind, relieves insomnia, detoxifies the lymphatic system, relieves depression and anxiety, and restores the body to a blissful, peaceful state of balance, and calm energy.


Reiki / Chakra Energy Balancing

Reiki, is Japanese Energy work. Reiki is beneficial for stress reduction, relaxation and promotes healing. It is administered fully-clothed and by "laying on hands". A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including;  body, emotions, mind and spirit, creating multiple beneficial effects. Feelings of peace, security and well being are the result of time spent to be restored to balance.


Thai Foot Reflexology

Using a smooth rosewood stick blessed by Thai Buddhist monks, Thai foot reflexology is applied to the feet, stimulating the Thai meridian lines to bring forth healing, and balance to the whole body. This ancient and sacred technique, provides deep healing, relaxation, and peacefulness, along with gentle and deep foot massage techniques.


Cupping / Moxibustion

Cupping, is a method in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) of applying acupressure by creating a vacuum with glass or plastic cups. Cupping is used to treat conditions of excess and stagnation in the body. Cupping is also used to treat conditions of the neck, shoulder, back and other types of musculoskeletal pain and inflammation. * Cupping may cause/create bruising that may/can last up to a week *

Moxabustion, is a method in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) of burning the herb Mugwort, above the surface of the skin, Moxabustion, is used to treat cold, and damp conditions by bringing heat/warming to an area or region. Moxabustion has been shown to be an effective treatment in relieving cramps associated with menstrual cycles.


Auriculotherapy

Auriculotherapy, also known as ear acupuncture. It is a technique that is based upon the principle, that the ear represents a microcosmic map of the entire body and organs. Through the use of the application of applied pressure, and the application of small Acubeads, auriculotherapy, brings forward harmony and balance to the body system.
